The Institute of Chemistry, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) welcomes applicants to jointly prepare successful proposals for the EU MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship program.

MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF) offer prestigious career funding for researchers soon after obtaining their PhD degree in an international setting with the possibility of inter-disciplinary and inter-sectorial mobility.

Institute of Chemistry, ELTE

The Institute of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, ELTE is a small chemistry institute at the largest and oldest Hungarian university with central location in Budapest, a Central-European research, innovation, and economic center. The Institute already hosts several ERC and MSCA projects, and it thrives to attract young talents from all around the world in chemistry-related disciplines to strengthen its inter- and multi-disciplinary research programs, and to intensify collaboration with companies.

 

APPLICATION

Who?

  • You have a PhD degree by 13 September 2023.

  • You do not have more than 8 years of research experience (full-time equivalent) from the date of award of your PhD degree at the call deadline (13 September 2023).

  • You have not carried out your main activity during the past 36 months in Hungary for longer than 12 months immediately before 13 September 2023.

What?

MSCA PF grants provide generous funding for your salary, mobility (and family) allowance, research and networking costs for the post-doctoral researcher and overhead costs for the research institution. 

How?

Joint applications by you and a supervisor from the host institution.

Schedule of pre-selection for a joint application with a supervisor from the Institute of Chemistry, ELTE:

  • Please send your expression of interest and your CV to the supervisor by 13 June 2023
  • Confirmation from the supervisor by 27 June 2023
  • Masterclass and tutoring during the first two weeks of July 2023
  • Application submission deadline: 13 September 2023
