The Faculty of Science at ELTE's Institute of Chemistry and Åbo Akademi University (ÅAU), located in Turku, have established an institutional-level cooperation agreement based on a student exchange program for their master's programs. According to the agreement, ÅAU and ELTE will launch a four-semester (120 ECTS) dual-degree master's program in chemistry and chemical engineering. Students admitted to the current program can participate in a two-semester Erasmus+ student mobility program at ÅAU starting September 2025. Applicants with a good command of English will spend two semesters at their home institution and then continue their studies for the remaining two semesters at the host university after acquiring 60 ECTS at their home institution. ELTE students will complete their thesis on a chemical engineering topic at the host university. The coordinators of the program are Henrik Grénman (ÅAU) and Mihucz Viktor Gábor (ELTE).
